MI Green Team and its event partners are conducting an aggressive marketing campaign promoting the Healthy Home & Living Expo, including ads in magazines, newspapers, and social media, as well as postcard distribution, yard/road sign placement, and our first-ever billboard advertising. However, word of mouth is always the most effective promotion and your active participation is vital. With a short time left before the expo, we will need to make a concerted cooperative promotional effort. Below are resources available for you to help make that happen...

MGT Promotions

MI Green Team (MGT) has been preparing for a great event by lining up exhibitorsentertainment,  door prizes, concessions and presentations, with much more to come. We've begun our public marketing campaign, including:

  • event announcement to media contacts, customers and business networks (Chamber)  
  • ads in Natural Awakenings and other print and digital magazines
  • posts and paid ads on the HHLE Event,  MGT and partners' Facebook pages (w/ 20k+ Likes) 
  • printed materials distribution - posters, postcards, flyers and outdoor signs 
  • our first-ever billboard advertising (pictured above)

Digital Communications

Please post the following announcement, web flyer, banner/logo and ad in all available team, department, school and district digital communications preceding the event. These could include emails, newsletters, websites, Peachjar, and other announcement lists. Remember to link text and images to your affiliate URL or to for ticket purchase. Healthy Home & Living Expo

Explore healthy living at the Healthy Home & Living Expo at the picturesque Canterbury Village in Orion Twp, Saturday and Sunday, August 10-11, from 12pm to 5pm. The expo highlights the commitment of local businesses and community organizations to  wellness. It offers healthy shopping, speakers, live music, door prizes, concessions, and fun for all ages. Parking and admission are free. $5 VIP tickets include preferred seating/queuing, door prize entry and gift/tote bag, and are available on-line. Printed Materials

In addition, posting and distribution of printed materials should be conducted whenever possible. The following artwork can be printed, or materials can be ordered. Send your order to me at

Social Media & Networking

Finally, social media and personal invitations/announcements should be sent as often as possible to customers and friends on Facebook. Start by inviting your friends to the join and invite their friends to the HHLE Facebook event. We should be able to get thousands of Facebook invites alone, if the effort is shared. Word of mouth is always the best advertising!
